Saturn Return Calculator

Every 29-and-a-half years, Saturn returns to exactly where it sat at your birth — the most famous rite of passage in astrology. Find the precise dates of your Saturn returns and what each one asks of you.

How to use the Saturn Return

Your Saturn return is the moment transiting Saturn completes an orbit and comes back to its exact natal position — roughly every 29.5 years. It is astrology's great rite of passage into each new life stage.

Getting started

  1. Enter your birth date, time and place; the tool finds when Saturn returns to its natal degree.
  2. Because Saturn retrogrades, a return often perfects two or three times across a year or more — all the passes are shown.
  3. The first lands near 29-30, the second near 58-59, the third near 87-88.

Reading your result

Read the exact date as the core of a longer window (about a year either side). The themes are maturity, responsibility, structure and reality — what is solid survives, what is built on illusion falls away.

Astrologer's tip Note which natal house holds your Saturn: that life area gets the deepest renovation during each return.
